The stock exhaust on my 2014 Roadster makes a great noise with pops and crackles on overrun but I'd like more. Has anyone fitted the Akrapovic system. Seen a couple of clips on YouTube and the carbon tips look cool but I'd like to here from someone who's done it.

Is the sound and performance upgrade worth the money ?

They do sound good, but dont expect any performance gain

As a value for money upgrade, it's not the best.,it won't gain any power, slight change in exhaust note and that's it.

They are actually pretty quiet as well. I'm on minitorque forum and have a fairly highly modified R56 JCW and quite a few people have commented on the akrapovic being a lovely bit of kit but fairly quiet

Thanks guys. The sound is the main thing I'm after. The samples on their website don't sound all that different.

Any suggestions for a system that will give me more noise ?
