Clubman, rattle coming from suspension.

Hi we have a 12 plate mini one D.
Over slow speed rough roads there's a rattling sound like there's something loose from the front of the car.
The mini garage did a health check just before the warranty was up and checked all bushes etc. and found nothing wrong.
I took the mechanic ( not been with mini long) out and he agreed it was making the noise and took the car back to the workshop and checked the under tray etc and still could find nothing wrong, he did however put an old rag behind the wheel arches on the front which seemed to make it better for a wk or so. I have since tried playing around doing similar but can not make it stop.
Am i being picky or is this a normal trait on the clubman?
It's honestly more rattly than my 10 yr old ford connect with 133,000 on the clock.

I had something similar, couldn't find anything wrong with suspension. In the end think it was/is bonnet, sound is from front nearside. I put some pads in a few spots between wing and bonnet and it seemed to help. There are also rubber gromets you can turn to 'push up' the bonnet, towards front of car. HTH
