Thoughts on this MCS JCW R53.
Discussion
I am currently looking for a fun little car to use during the week for work. I have been to see this:

Which seems to fit the bill. It needs a bit of paintwork to improve cosmetically (one of the doors is mismatched) but seemed fun to drive although the interior rattled a bit. I assume this is down to the biggish wheels and run flats. Would really appreciate a bit of advice as to whether the price seems fair and what they are like to live with. For some reason I like the idea of the supercharger rather than the later turbo model.

I'm in the market for a r53 copper s or JCW at the moment and that looks exspencive compared to other examples around (it has low miles) but plenty about with still fairly low miles (70k to 100k) for about half that price. Personally think I'm more likely go buy a cooper s and add a smaller pulley rather than pay the JCW price premium. Best of luck with your search.

Thanks for the replies. I bid £5,750 for it but he sold it to someone else so had search continues.
Lucky escape lol, the price of that was quite simply hilarious. Go on Minitorque, but well specced & loved MCS for £3.5k.
Laugh out loud when you drive it properly for the first time.
