Differences in R56 Cooper S Models
Discussion
So i'm after a 2007/2008 Cooper S.
I've noticed some have leather, some have full sunroof, etc. There seems to be lots of extras and packs.
I want to know about all of these chilli packs and stuff.
If somebody could give a real clear list of the differences that would be very helpful.
Also, if you've had an 07/08 cooper s, it'd be nice to hear about your experience with it

Not sure there is a clear list, as MINI review the standard equipment and content of the packs about twice a year, and then (as it's a BMW) everything can be specced up as an individual option. But roughly:
* Pepper gives storage pack (an extra upper glovebox, storage nets, and a 12V connector in the boot), on-board computer (no idea what difference that makes) and interior chav lighting. Car mats? It used to add air-con, but that's standard now.
* Chili (note one L) adds sports seats, bigger alloys, climate control and Xenons.
* Aero pack adds front, rear and side skirts.
* Media pack replaces the central speedo with satnav (the speed is still shown round the edge of the dial, but 99% use the digital speedo shown in the centre of the rev counter over the steering wheel anyway).
* Multi-function steering wheel (MFSW) for hands-free radio and phone access plus cruise control.
* Visibility pack is heated windscreen and auto-lights & wipers.
Anything leather is an option. The panoramic sunroof is an option.
