Hi

The OH has a 2014 Cooper D as a company car which I have been driving recently - when I change down (especially when the engine is cold), e.g. when approaching a junction so going into 2nd, the revs jump up to between 2-3k rpm without me touching the accelerator. I suspected this may be a fault (together with a intermittent hesitation at 60mph) but we now have a second identical car (with 2k miles on it) on the drive (the company has a spare), and it does exactly the same thing....confused

Any ideas?

Thanks

Tim

Thanks - after posting I found a review which mentioned the optional sport/rev matching function but I don't seem to have it - I certainly don't have a switch to change modes. I will ask the dealership to see what they say.

It's a standard feature OP, it doesn't matter if you've got driving modes or not. Enjoy!
