Cooper S badge not on the boot?

Don't know much about the new Minis, but I'm interested to know.

My wife bought a Cooper S recently, its a 2013 car and she's loving it (as am I ) and I notice unlike all the other Cooper s's I've seen driving around it doesn't have the cooper S badge on the boot. Is there a reason for this? Probably unconnected, but it does have a chrome GB badge on it. Thanks.

There is a badge delete option which the original owner probably specified.

Thanks John, that makes sense. The car has every possible extra, somehow I'm not surprised they chose that option.
