Thanks
Rich

Always wonder what mr muller pays in Germany for the same car
Bet they get the full fat finance from bmw, rather than the half arsed one mini offers here
The only good rates are on the old models
I would advise if your looking at a basic spec go new, if you want to load up with toys your better of with an ex-demo
Just saved about 6k in cash terms for an October car with 2k on the clock, no broker is going to get you that sort of deal

I been talking to a main dealer in the north and they are only offering a £650 discount on a 5 door Cooper. Doesn’t seem to be much wriggle room but I’ll try.
Once the car was spec’d they then tried to load on Tyre protection @ £500, GuardX at £500, TLC @ £345 (probably worth it) and GAP insurance @ £500. Oh, and delivery at £430. So £2275 of add ons.
I’ll likely delete Tyres as self-insured, GuardX I can get done locally for £250, and GAP insurance is available online for £200.
Still debating whether to go for the Cooper S but that’s another £3k or so. Soon adds up.

You can get at least 10 per cent off. Walk away and find another dealer if yours will only give £650. You can then get a Cooper S for roughly what you will pay for a Cooper. Still haven't ordered ours as the wife is undecided on colour combination. For all the choices you have with a Mini spec, the colour range isn't very good. Find a Moonwalk Grey in the flesh, it's stunningBuyacar.com are offering 7% discount but not TLC so I can use that as leverage with the dealers.
