Dealer service - called out for poss overheating
Discussion
Hello all,
I had some suspicions about my 2003 R50 Cooper the other day. Didn't think the high speed fan was coming on.
Called the dealer and was told to call the MINI 'Emergency Services'. I called them and was given a 60min ETA, not bad!
They turned up 30mins early, which was nice.
He looked the car over, said all was fine (I thought only the high speed fan was kicking in, apparently that's the normal speed which was running and kicking in intermittently - as expected. God know how loud the high speed setting is!)
He was sorted and gone in 30mins after having a general nose round the engine bay, giving a few tips on what to look out for etc.
Good service! (As long as the car doesn't now blow up

)It was through their 'Cherished' scheme. So 12 month MOT, FminiSH, breakdown, 12 month 'as new' warranty etc.
Apparently it has to be 'exceptional' for a car that age to go through the scheme... It is a nice car though
It was just one of the BMW (I think) branded wagons and a guy in blue overalls and tie.
