Buying a JCW - SH is not all Mini

I'm off to look at a 2005 JCW later this week and the seller tells me the SH is a mix of Inde and Mini - would that bother anyone?

Wouldn't bother me at all. I'll be using a BMW/MINI specialist for mine (Bartletts in Huntingdon) and TBH I really think I'll get a better quality of work than from the stealer. The guys are all factory trained, capable of carrying out full rebuilds, diagnostics etc and very knowledgeable.
Just remember wherever you take it the JCW kit requires alternative spark plugs and V-belt to the standard MCS should you need an inspection 2 service.

Cheers. The last few cars I've had have been double the age of the JCW, so dealer service history hasn't even registered on my radar, so I just wanted to make sure.
