R56 DSC Control unit failure.

Wifes 57 plate car with 22k miles came up with an ABS fault.

Stealer diagnosed it as a faulty DSC unit. They quoted me £1800.00 to fix it!

Anyone else had this? Any easy way round it?

Nothing directly, but it's a common BMW issue, try searching for that. I think someone can fix them now.

We had similar last year on a 57 plate, and dealer qouted abt £1200 or so. mini contributed and cost abt £280.
