Over the weekend, my sons G/F's Mini One front wipers stopped working. Rear works OK. I checked the 20A use, all ok, swapped the relays over, still no joy in them moving. Phoned up a local Mini specialist, they said that she was the fifth person to call about front wipers not working. They said it is more than likely the motor burnt out, which could be a posibility as she may have tried to use them when the blades were frozen to the screen.
My question is, how easy is it to change the wiper motor on the new Mini's ? I am fairly competant at rebuilding things, currently rebuilding the front of my sons Audi A3 after hitting a deer and then snow bank.
Also any idea of the cost of a new motor ? (will be checking Fleabay later when I get home and can access the site)

Cheers in advance

I would look to get the motor from a part factor/ mini parts rather than the bay. But that just me. I have not done the work on a mini yet but have found on most cars its not to hard a job. Have you got a manual? Good luck (Just told the wife to check blads are not stuck befor using.
