So, the new RR&B forum is gathering momentum nicely, thanks Ted and poorcardealer for suggesting it.

So how about a list of who's running what then? so we all know.

Balmoral Green, Turbo R.
poorcardealer, Brooklands.
flashgitindenial, Continental GT.
jhoneyball, Turbo RT.

Honourable mention, Deristrictor, used to run a Turbo RT.

its hard to know who is good and who isnt -- the wizard who looks after my aston isnt franchised but is v well known in the field.

Simon & Stuart, top blokes, well known in the club with their Turbo R racer. Belper to Crondall is hardly local for me, but I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I love the Camargue, very much of its time, and criminally undervalued. Kind of very retro cool nowadays. Reminds me of a huge Monteverdi.

I bought them secondhand and so didnt have a choice, 255/45x18 were on the wheels when I bought them, the tyres were more or less brand new and the wheels were about two years old. £1000 the set

TBH they are just a bit too big for the car, Bentley Luxembourg told me they really shouldnt be on the car. The suspension does tend to struggle to catch up with them sometimes, in mass terms. I think 285 might require a bit of inner panel modification with a hammer too.

They have killed the ride, but the grip is amazing and no more waiting for the slop in the sidewalls to be taken up, turn in is really crisp now, getting Mulliner front & rear anti-roll bars next.

BG -- is your car back from PMC yet? Pleased with the paint?
Collecting tomorrow afternoon. Will update when I have got BG back home and had a proper look around on Sunday.

Suffering a serious case of 'buyers remorse' now I have finally got to the end and have to pay for it.

Was also extremely peeved that the painters (not Phantom) jacked the car up along the bottom edge of the jacking points instead of into them at the requisite 90 degrees and squashed two of them flat to the cills, and a third corner jacked under an undertray. Two and a half tons FFS. Been quietly simmering about that all week.
