I've been looking at (from a distance only so far) a 2005 arnage.
I came across a review for the 2006 model which slated the previous 4 speed gearbox. I would appreciate any advice on whether I'm (much) better off moving on and finding a 2006 model, or whether, not having even driven a bentley before, the older box is 'fine'. Many thanks

They are all brilliant cars and you will laugh everytime you drive it. I like the four speeder as it uses the massive torque to great effect, and really does not seem to be asking for more gears. However you should try both and see what you prefer - the 2007 model year has the six speed gearbox, more power, stiffer body and other improvements so may be worth the extra, but only driving for yourself will make you happy with the decision.

Of course the Brooklands is the ultimate.....
