I'm in the process of selling my TVR Cerbera (4.2, 2003, 18,000m, £20k in case anyone's interested). The planned replacement will be a Bentley Azure or Continental R from the late 90's. There are quite a few around but it will take me time to become familiar and to find the right one.

Are there knowledgeable people out there who will find something for a fee?

Is the RREC a useful body to join to find a car or someone to find one for me?

Thanks for the reply if you have any information

The RREC or the BDC can help with arranging an engineers inspection of any proposed purchase. As for finding a proposed purchase, there are a number of specialists and agents who can source a car for you, outside of simply looking at private/dealer ads.

Phantom Motor Cars may know of, or be able to find a car for you.

Thanks for rapid reply. I've surveyed all the usual dealers online, including Phantom. Where do you suggest I look to find someone to do the hard work if I want someone to hold my hand?

Here's a list of reputable specialists who can offer pre-purchase inspections etc:

I can personally recommend Nigel Sandell - www.nsandell.com - who looks after both my cars (and James May's!).
