Sorted, it was in a really hand spot, the GLOVE BOX !!!! What a stupid place !!!!!

Hi - I gave a more detailed answer in your other thread...

There is a 'security' feature behind the glove box location - you can set the "hotel" mode to locked, with the SoE safetly stowed away. Then you can lock the glove box with the mechanical key. If you valet park the car at a hotel or airport for example - and only handover the electronic key, it is not possible for the valet to open the boot or get to the SoE.
