white wall freshen up

hi chaps

i've just completed a couple of days detailing a beautiful plum colour silver spirit with white walls and am frustrated with the condition of them

the tyres are in good shape so won't need replacing but the white lines are now very yellow

does anyone have any suggestion for a product to get them as new again ?

cheers for the suggestion but these are really quite bad mostly abraded so won't just clean up

a detailing college suggested i try on here as apparently theres a specific paint type application that works wonders

Had White side wall Avons for years. You need nothing more than a few Brillo pads. Scrub clean and wash off.no fancy cleaner is as good. Harry.

You could try fine wire wool mixed with fairy liquid. Always worked for me.

Or paint thinners which I used on these. Mine are 35 yrs old and were yellow

Not suggesting you attack the whitewalls immediately with this cheap quick-fix suggestion- but have you tried Jif (or Cif since it was renamed) and a washing up sponge? Works a treat cleaning up white rubber, although there is almost certainly an expensive but perfect automotive detailing product out there for your specific requirements!

I'm well aware of the dangers.......Car is going nowhere......shame they don't remake them
