Morning all....

I've recently become the owner of a wonderful 2000 Arnage RL, but the yesterday I noticed a small patch of hydraulic type fluid (oily rather than condensation from the a/c), below the front end of the engine bay, on my garage floor. About 6" dia.

Anyone any thoughts before I haul it into an expensive garage for them to tell me something ridiculous.

Coolant?

You may want to check the radiator and hoses for any leaks.

I take it this is the car you asked for peoples opinions on a few weeks ago?Did you get it inspected before purchase?...
Could be anything really but probably something to do with the power steering or suspension/braking system. When I sent my Arnage in to sort out all the little wear issues these cars inevitably have I had to replace a weeping power steering pipe which deteriorates at around 10 years old and eventually bursts completely.Maybe your problem is this pipe. You really need to get the car looked at asap by someone who knows what they are doing.

Yes, this is the car I asked some advice on - had a mechanic come down and look over the car, and I and he were both happy.

Leak only appeared two days after I picked it up.

It's only a very small amount, and it's clear in colour.

I'll take it to be looked at as soon as possible.....on that note, does anyone know of any specialists in Lincolnshire or Yorkshire?
