Saw about 6 of these today going to the press launch at Archerfield House.

It has to have one of the ugliest front ends ever. Kind of like its got the bug eyed headlights of a an old Scorpio or Impreza.

Apart from that though it looked well appointed.

Have to agree - shame about the lights, they just don't look right...

Well, I haven't seen one in the flesh as yet, but I like the picture you showed a lot more than I was expecting - the Jewish Racing Gold one they showed at Pebble Beach or wherever didn't appeal at all. I can't see any problem with the lights.

The bit I don't like is the big bulkhead thing under the radiator grille, which doesn't seem to me to relate to anything. But it doesn't stand out so much in a dark colour.

Also saw them, driving up through the Scottish Borders. One of them was two tone (silver/tungsten) which looked OK. One was in a darke metallic brown, which looked awful. Methinks they will be very sensitive to colour. All of them looked jolly big!!!

I agree 100% - in black or dark blue it looks stunning. I want one!

I drive the A500 between Nantwich and the M6 most days and have been seeing these testing daily for the past 3 months or so.

Look awesome in the flesh and the light are a real grower.... especially when they're switched on.

yum

The original Pebble Beach car was HIDEOUS, in Jewish Racing Gold and flat profile alloys. Such a disappointment. I was sick for days!

However, now we have this:

I have one dislike (and it is only a personal dislike, and haven't seen one in the metal) the back end.

It droops to much and seems too bulky. I like a defined bonnet, cabin and boot.

Doubt I'll ever have the chance of owning one mind, I prefer the look of the Arnage.

Having said that, it is a Bentley.

Thin White Duke - sadly, I have to agree with you about the back end. The front is SO strong, but it sort of fades away into a melted blobbiness at the rear.

However, in black it's much better. It seems to disguise the blandness.

See my latest post in "Ghost...what a shame" above

I have to stick it for it and go against the majority I'm afraid.

IMHO it looks fantastic. Visual impact is high, it looks very expensive, and is generally a move in the right direction.

Superb looking car!
