Recently purchased an 07 model yr GTC. Found I'm unable to connect my iPhone to GTC's bluetooth, however on answering an incoming call using GTC's phone functionality, can't hear the caller.

Does the iPhone 3GS work with the GTC's factory bluetooth kit?

i think only '08 model year onwards had iphone compatibility. Even the dealer told me mine didn't have it until i questioned again(after seeing it on their website)and they double checked and told me it did early '08 model year)!

However, i think i saw in their options brochure that it is possible to retrofit bluetooth but whether this includes iphone compatibility or not i'm not sure.

Hopefully you will find this guide of use:

http://www.bentleymotors.com/ownership/bluetooth_g...

It suggests that with the latest dealer upgrade you can now communicate with the iPhone 3GS.

Just had my car serviced and I asked the same question about iphone (apr 2007 spur) and was told I needed a new ecu! at a cost of around £8-900.
To say I was a little taken aback by this ridiculous amount is an understatement.
Let us know if you find out how to get it sorted.

Early cars with Bluetooth (display and controls in drivers armrest) won't work with iPhone, or most other up to date phones. Later cars with Bluetooth built in to the Infotainment display will, though pairing can be problematical. Bentley dealers do have a module upgrade, but it is expensive. Parrot Bluetooth kits can be fitted with a mute module giving incoming audio over speakers.
