Hi,

Just wondering if anyone else has encountered the following problem:

If left out in the rain, the area under the petrol cap cover becomes flooded with water. Before filling up, I have to slop the water out as the filler cap is submerged.

In the cold weather the water has frozen and I couldn't open the petrol cap as it had become encased in ice.

Should say - its a 2007 Conti GT.

Coat hanger - worked a treat. Now draining nicely. How nice to fix something on the car without a £1000 bill.
Thanks for advice.
