Bentley Turbo R (1990) Whining Diff
Discussion
Mines been doing that for nine years. Unless it is quiet noticeable, I wouldn't worry about it until you feel it really does need seeing to. You'll be long dead by then anyway
Might be worth checking/changing the diff oil just for peace of mind, but I don't see what else could you do other than spend an awful lot of money for very little return.

Thank you Balmoral Green, your words put me at ease, phew! I will check the diff oil and see if it makes a difference (no pun intended).
God I love my Bentley so much, I get a buzz everytime I see her or drive her. I insured her for 3000 miles but will have to up that tomorrow. I've had a Shadow I & II before, but my Turbo R is the best. You could say I'm infatuated with her. Everytime I go to put her in the garage I stand back first and take a long look at her and melt, and think WOW!
What is it about such cars that can bring us to tears when we are in their presence?
