Windermere. Bentley spotted with it's Fogs on.
Discussion
(It wasn't foggy at the time.)
Windermere seems to be populated by a high proportion of people who seem to be successful/"Rich"/well heeled/etc, judging by the number of "Prestige" marques around the place.
I would like to think that driving a Bentley would say something about yourself; ie intelligent.
Driving with the Foglights on is not something that I'd expect from a "Normal" Bentley driver who I would have thought would know better. I suppose Bentleys can be bought by ignorant people who have won the Lottery or somesuch. I would hope that this was the case on this occasion.
Just had to get that off my chest.

PH catharsis? Front fog light wkers (and their apologists) are everywhere, even in Bentleys.
I think the phenomenon encapsulates the selfish and inconsiderate driver who doesn't give a damn or even realise how antisocial and annoying they are to other road users.
In terms of detestability, front fog light wkers are right up there with middle lane morons, tail gaters and outside lane hogs, regardless of what car they drive.
I don't mind the fronts so much as the rears: I don't have to look at the former for very long because the car is past in a matter of seconds (or, if following me, I can dip my mirror), but sometimes have no option with the latter if I find myself following the car for several miles.
Also, there are frequently times when one wants the rears on, but does not need the fronts, only to find that in many cars one is unable to operate the former without the latter.
Not a problem on the Turbo R, however - no front fogs to turn on. Perhaps I should have some fitted, just to upset BG!!

And just how stupid is that? My Fabia vRS has such a combined fog light switch, fronts come on first, then the rears
IMO a combined switch, but wired so it's rears first, and then fronts, should be the standard. This would also cut out the front fog light fkwittery as well, although I wouldn't put it past the idiots to drive around with the rears on too if that's the only way they can get the fronts to be on.
Anyway, we've done the front fog light wkers topic to death in GG many a time, I guess we don't really want it soiling the RR&B forum, so my apologies.
