New Addition Turbo RL
Discussion
Just added a new baby to my fleet. A 1996 Turbo RL.
What a beast. Like driving a Stately Home on speed !
Midnight Blue metallic and in very good overall condition.
Anyone know independant specialists NE England around East Yorkshire?
Will need a routine service soonish.
I would like to know about the wiring for a replacement sound system and can't figure out if the gubbins in the boot (Telephone old style) is connected to the head unit for fitting an amp e.t.c.. Anyone help?

Every credit: worth buying for the scale of door hinges alone.
It should have been called 'The Brunel.'
Very little makes you feel more like Robert Morley reprising the M.O. of some colonial potentate, than spying the endless vista afforded by these cars' prow.
That's before you engage Sopwith mode...

I can't recommend any specialists in your neck of the woods, as I don't know of any of them. I am in Derby, yet take mine down to Phantom Motors in Surrey, it's a long way to go, but worth it.
Fabulous car, congratulations.
I do hope the routine service proves to be just that.

When I say needs a service, its more of a let someone else look over it.
It had its last service at 47k and is on 51k now. Oils and fluids all spotless and no evidence of brewing faults. Get a "low mineral oil" warning briefly if accelerating quickly which clears and the level is ok, plus a "brake pressure low" for a minute on start up. One rear wheel arch needs a repair when I have checked all is well mechanically.
Tyres all good, just trying to source a reasonably priced handbook so I can figure out how to work everything.
Cheers for the support!

Get the mulliner anti roll bars fitted -- Phantom Motors have all the remaining stock, I believe
they are huge and bright yellow
transforms the car
does anyone know what size they are ? or can maybe measure a pair for me ?they are huge and bright yellow
transforms the car
( I'd like to do the roll-stiffness calculations to see how much of a contribution they make )
