Hi all,

In a recent thread, I posted regarding my thoughts on buying another RR as a way of having some fun with money I have in the bank, rather than watching the interest rates decrease on a daily basis!

Unfortunately, the Shadow I was interested in has now been sold, so I am having a re-think. My criteria now is:

  1. Classic style (i.e. chrome rather than impact bumper)
  2. Coupe rather than saloon
  3. Minimal depreciation
On that basis, a Corniche seems to fit the bill and I have been informed of a car possibly for sale by Nigel Sandell, who services my Silver Spirit. The car is in very good order and is well know to Nigel who has looked after it for quite some time. The only 'issue' is that the car is a 'marmite' one (i.e. you either love it or hate it), as it has cloth rather than leather interior (which was a factory extra at the time at an additional cost of around £580!). What does everyone think? I will try and upload some photos later.....

It will be easier to sell on if it had leather as others will consider it "marmite" too.
