Hi Guys

Apologies if this has been asked before :

I am looking at buying a GT in Jan 2009 and wanted to find out from owners what the actual running costs are for one to two years of ownership ?

The Car I am looking at has approx 39k Miles.

Curious to find out what the yearly service costs are ?

What is more likely to break on the car ?

What is the big and small service costs ?

How much are tyres ?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer my questions guys.

Haha, I believe they're not an optional extra but can be acquired relatively easy during ownership. wink

Services are not too expensive as mentioned above but Tyres can be very expensive.

I encountered a few problems as it would appear the Dealers had all the stock when i needed some new boots for the car.

Eventually managed to source some from Germany still at a discount compared to the local dealer.

IMO a warranty is a worthwhile option too.

Either way its a great car.

If you are in Thames Valley check out Hibberds, they've got the requisite kit to service the cars and publish costs on the website.

Their prices aren't really any cheaper than a main dealer's Fixed Price scheme (alternating £700 / £1400 each year basically).
