I am looking to book a Phantom Drophead and a Phantom Saloon for my wedding next year...

Although the bride is worried that her hair will get blown all over the place in the back of the Drophead once the roof is down, I have tried to assure her that I am sure (opinion only) that the design and market place of these vehicles will mean not a single hair will be blown out of place...

So im after your experiences with the Drophead and its windyness (new word) in the back to put my soon-to-be better halfs mind at rest.

Many Thanks
Lee

The drophead does not have a windbreak (like droptop BMWs and the like). However, I imagine she would be ok in the front with the windows up but definitely not in the back, although I am speaking from the experience of a male who usually cuts his hair to grade 2 hehe If she's in any doubt, I would phone the supplier of the drophead because I'm sure this is a question they get if they hire it our for weddings!

I've been in the back of the DHC and the Azure and you get blown about in either with the windows up or down I'm afraid. It's the wind getting dragged back over the boot-lid/deck not coming from the sides that gets you. Would have to be a sub-20mph run to leave your bride unruffled I suspect.

I too have been in an Azure with the roof down and can confirm you get blown around in the back.
Most convertible wedding cars I've seen stop around the corner from the wedding location and drop the roof, then finish the last bit at slow speed.
