Our Royce Silver Spirit has just failed it's MOT; two cracked front coil springs.

Can anyone recommend, or does anyone know of, a Rolls specialist in Shropshire / Staffs / West Mids / Worcestershire??

Thanks in anticipation.

I've regularly used http://www.rrb-garages.com/main.htm in Bromsgrove and have had very good service from them at sensible cost.

Not uncommon, IIRC they are actually a service item, and are replaced on one of the big service schedules, a #4 or 48K I think.

Just checked the service history, and yup they were replaced at 45k, so considering she's now on 93k that makes sense.

Church, thanks for the info. Gave them a call earlier, but they seemed a little costly. She's been booked in with Broughtons of Cheltenham; a fair bit further afield, but they know the car quite well apparently and were a little keener on cost.

Hi Smiller - I use Dennis Fossett (01789 414400) based in Stratford on Avon - very reasonable on cost and helpful to boot.

Kind regards

Can I recommend Broughtons?

Free pick-up and return, Rolls fully valeted, very friendly service, and labour rates at £39.00 per hour.

Top job!

Wow!
That's amazing.my indy charges £55 per hour, but he is fantastic. I have heard of an indy in Chelsea charging £110 per hour. Mind you, a Volvo dealer in Grimsby I spoke to recently charges £80.
Pays to shop around!
