Can someone tell me what the difference is between the current Phantom Coupe convertible and the new 101EX? I know very little about RR cars and am looking into it for my CEO.

The 101EX was the concept car from whence the production drophead came, originally shown at Geneva. It was the follow-on from the original 100EX concept car (also a Geneva car), which was bonkers (had a V16 engine); the 101EX, by contrast, was pretty much production-ready in true BMW fashion, barring some carbon fibre bodywork IIRC.

EX100 is the convertible concept car which led to the production Phantom Drophead coupe, with a few changes such as existing V12 (EX100 had a 9.0 litre V16)

EX101 is the coupe concept which we now know as the (production) Phantom Coupe which will debut in Geneva on Tuesday.

Going on Monday for the Motor Show on Tues and Wed.
