QuickSilver........................
As a supplier of this product i was initially impressed.
However, on a couple of occasions, the fit was poor. On one occasion we had to cut about 2 inches out of the pipe before the rear box and shorten to fit. This then alowed inspection of the insides of the rear box. It looked like a very poor 'Cut and Shut' or 'Frankenstein's monster'. Very poor overlapping joints and miss alignment, resulting in considerable flow reduction and turbulence. More like 'Scrap Heap Challange'. QuickSilver were informed and were very dismissive or Non-fussed. Amazing when you listen to their claims. I also heard of another tuning company that had a QuickSilver exhaust box split. Quicksilver apparently refused any replacement......????????
We even lent QuickSilver a GT to help develop the Bentley GT product.
I would now recomend Laurini. A smaller company but with possible more attention to detail. See.....http://www.larinisystems.com/

That engine doesn't do a lot for me. I'd get one of these instead: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mE-MAyjsdic&NR=...

I'll be happy to answer any questions you have.....If i can!!!

jon, thats some noise from your Aston. The real shame of a turbo is that it mutes and bundles together all the exhaust tones and pulses. The Nat.Asp. is far better........Can be heard from miles away

If you dont mind me asking what do you do for a job to afford a car like the GTC and is it better than a standard GT.
Is the GTC better than the standard GT? Yes, I think so. Performance is identical, but the open top element adds another dimension. I also think the boot/trunk area is better looking on the GTC and less 'Audi TT' looking somehow. It's flat with a lip rather than being swept to the roof line. The roof on the convertible even has a light, so it's indistinguishable from a coupe - and, of course, extremely quiet. I don't use it very often (3,000 miles in 12 months) as I have other cars to play with. However in nice weather, being in an open top Bentley is hard to beat. It's the car Aston should be able to make.

Your good self, amongst others, Warren!
I have heard many people call them 'not real Bentleys', 'boring soundtrack', 'not a patch on an Arnage', etc etc etc.
'If you want a VW, buy one', etc etc etc.
I'd agree with you Beemer - I think the GT is something of a bargain for the luxury and performance. I've driven most luxury cars, including most of the models Bentleys made in the last ten years or so, and the GT is very hard to beat. It's a shame it doesn't have the presence (to my eye) of the Arnage for example, but it's a fabulous car to drive. I drove from Marseilles to Surrey last summer in mine with the hood down in one sitting - wonderful! It thunders along and you're surrounded by one of the best cabins in the business.
As with all cars there will always be detractors - when I had a Vanquish there was lots of 'oh it's not a proper Aston, it's a Ford' but these comments always came from people who couldn't actually afford a new Aston but preferred instead to sneer from the sidelines. I think the Bentley's a bit like that too.
I agree entirely.
I had a debate late last year with a guy who reckoned that the Flying Spur, a car i intend to buy at some stage, was a glorified Phaeton and should only be £60K new.
He also came out with the usual old tosh about it not being a real Bentley and the other oft-spouted nonsense about only the older models being any good.
I told him to see past who owns the company and what platform it uses and persuaded him to get a lift in one via a test 'drive' and he said that it was actually a fabulous car.
He wants one!
