What colour to choose?

I know its a little off topic but I'm hoping the refined chaps that look at a Roll's forum may be able to help? I'm having a 1959 Facel Vega restored and its time to choose the colour? Originaly it was silver with red. If I go for too light a silver I will lose the effect of the stainless and the crome. What was the Bond DB5 colour called and does anybody have any good pic's???? Any other idears appreaciated. Thanks for your help.

Bond Silver on the DB5 is called "Silver Birch" hope this helps

Could try Silver Pewter for contrast or possibly Georgian Silver

Just my tuppence worth on this one, but - IMVHO - a Facel Vega (well, HK500 anyway) looks best in a dark colour. Black. Preferably.

Still a sensational car though, whatever the colour

I always think they look best in a light powder blue metallic, with blue tinted glass.

Now your talking. I had almost decided on Silver Birch but I hate grey. And its a silver thats going a little grey. Love silver blue or early ie light caribean blue but not the 80s RR colour.But will they go with red leather?? Silver birch will! Help!!!

Red hide is the key to the paint colour by the looks of it.......
