Just a general consesus question... just a bit hypothetical!

If you had a Rolls Royce Phantom, four door version not coupe, would you drive it yourself or hire a driver?

Obviously a very pressing question, as i know so many people are just about to buy a rolls, and you have not thought about this!!

I reckon you're right. I never look in the front of one to see who owns it.

No I'd say less than that. 75% maybe.

There's 3 I regularly see out and about in Liverpool. Chauffered black one. Owner driver Jade Green type colour. Wait for it, metallic pink jobbie driven by a chap who, well he wears a lot of leather and owns a gay bar!

thats an interesting question...however , I believe this it the statistic. 90% of people who own a Phantom "ride" and 90 % of people who own a Bentley "drive" .. I would think that this is not too far from the truth , refering to Arnage here , you often see them being self driven by what seems to be the owner whereas you normally see a driver loitering next to a Phantom , certainly in London anyway , so , on that basis , I would run the new drophead or the two door when it comes , I think it looks a bit silly driving yourself in the Phantom...or go for the Arnage RL. Phantom is an "over statement" the RL is an "understatement" (with old technology!)

I know 4 people who own Phantoms and all 4 drive themselves.Im hoping to buy one of the 4 myself soon when its time for its owner to trade it in and I too would be driving it myself.

A little matter of about £120-150,000 will stop me buying one, alas!
