Bentley Turbo, Dark purple in colour, red brake calipers, some kind of special edition badge (Chap's name) on the left of the bootlid, and if memory serves; vented front wings.
Looked the business, anyone have any ideas what it was?

By the sound of the description, it is a Bentley Turbo R James Young limited edition. In 1995, a small run of James Young Turbo R's were made.Looked the business, anyone have any ideas what it was?

The colour would be Madscagar metallic.
You would think they would be rare, but there are actually a few of them kicking about in that colour combo. The weekend before last, I saw two of them, parked up at the RREC annual rally at Kelmarsh.
If it was purple, with the Mulliner wing vents, black alloys, red calipers etc, I think I may know the car. It sounds like an awfull combo, but they really do look the business. Brave colour spec'.
