Firstly, appologies for the crap mobile phone pics. Best I could do.
Followed this beast through my local town and the pair of us literally stopped traffic!
At first I though it was a Bentley of some description, but it had a duck tail thing going on at the back. It sounded AWESOME. There are not many cars that I can hear over the Cerb, and it seemed to have a pair of drainpipes for exhausts. It was a real beaut. Gave the driver a smile and thumbs up when I managed to get alongside him.
Anyway, any thoughts?

That is none other than the current President of the Bentley Drivers Club, Mr Andrew Day, all round good egg.
He is driving a 1925 (short 10') 3 litre Bentley chassis, with a 1931 8 litre Bentley engine in it, it also has a supercharger on it the size of a dustbin, visible on the o's of the engine.
It is very fast, 170mph reputedly, with rod/cable operated drum brakes and vintage Dunlop racing tyres, very scary
He sprints and races it, usually wins all the pots
