Quite a lot in the press about our V8-engined, Arnage-based cars this month.

Check out the following:

Autocar - Continental GTC vs Azure in latest issue. Steve Sutcliffe gives his seal of approval to both cars

CAR - issue just out has a 14-page feature by Ben Oliver on driving the latest 07MY Azure on a 3000-mile journey to the Arctic Circle to see the Northern Lights

Octane - issue just out has a great story on the development of the Bentley V8, with emphasis on the strides that we've made with turbocharging over the last 25 years. Features interviews with many of the retired engineers responsible for this venerable motor, as well as a comparo between our latest Arnage T and an original Mulsanne Turbo.

Simon, for some reason I've not read a single review on the GTC - does the Bentley website keep a selection of them?

I enjoyed the Octane issue this month, it's a great magazine... also that Nick Mason doesn't test drive cars before purchase. I thought I was the only one who did that!

nda,

Amazed that you haven't seen any press reviews of the GTC. After the media launch last September, each of the following ran with significant, leading coverage on first drives:

Autocar, Auto Express, evo, Top Gear, CAR, Telegraph Motoring, Sunday Times Motoring, The Express, The Mail on Sunday, The Daily Mail, The Independent, The Sun, The News of the World, Fifth Gear website, 4Car (Channel 4 website), What Car?, Octane.

In fact, many of the above titles have since followed up with additional rival tests, features etc.

But this just represents the national UK automotive media. Many lifestyle titles from the UK have published stories since the launch, too. And then you need to factor in the 85-odd other leading overseas titles that were present at launch and are still generating stories.

If you're still keen to read GTC reviews, it'd be best to visit some of the leading print media's websites, like www.autocarmag.com, for example, and go to the road test section.

We are currently looking into producing dealer literature for the GTC which will re-emphasise the many positive messages we've received from journalists. Will let you know when/if this happens.

Simon

Thanks - I'll check out the link.

I only subscribe to Octane and don't read anything else in the leisure section! Actually I do recall Clarksons piece in the Sunday Times a while back.

You should also publish this thread on the RREC website. I'm sure readers will be very interested. I'm going to buy the 'Octane' mag at lunchtime!
