Andrew, i'm in Derby too. Where is the car? It would be ideal for stripping out for a trackday car.

It is Detons in Stavely, Chesterfield. I have looked for a number, but no google/yell search is coming up with anything?!?!? The spelling might well be different though?

It is just off junction 30 M1.

Why would you possibly want to make a Bentley a trackday car? It will understeer into the 1st gravel trap it comes across!

Cathedral racing is a right hoot. There are several Turbo R racing cars around the world, and a few of them in the UK. I have sprinted mine many times, there are usually about half a dozen of us with Turbo R's taking part. Although I did stuff it into the tyre wall at MIRA in 2005.

I raced a Daimler Sovereign, once, it was so bad!

I used to drive Dad's Silver Shadow on the road, it had a hissy fit trying to corner above 40!

With the facilities that you have, you can properly "race prepare" a car from scratch! Surely, it would take 10s of 1000s to make a "Catherdral" race worthy? I was told that about a Rover V8 Sierra. The vehicle dynamics alone would cost alot of time and money to get it right!
