Just to save some the bother of posting - Yes, I know it's not a sports car, yes, I know footballers have them, yes, I know some think it's made by Germans, yes, I know it's not as good as the Bentleys made in the 13th century and yes, I know you wouldn't have one if it was given to you.... etc.

But for those interested... Ive just had these fitted. It was in for it's first service, so I picked up a trickle charger and thought I'd try this new exhaust system. It's quite a big system (i.e. not just the pipe ends). It sounds better, which is why I had it. 12 cylinders should sound like a dozen!

I'm not totally sure of the look - I quite liked the big ovals.

I'm told it's the first convertible to have this system.

If its sounds better, then great, sometimes the exhaust tuning is a little too refined.

Not sure about the looks, as you say. Perhaps some sort of trim on the bumper apertures might help?

FWIW, I quite like the GTC (with the roof down), and if someone offered me one I probably would take it (well, I might even pay a tenner for it).

Not sure about the looks either, but it's not a huge issue.

Hmmm. I tend to agree, they do look a little teenie somehow. I've kept the old (700 miles only!) system so can go back.

I'll live with them for a bit first.

Saw an 04 Conti GT with these on today. Look far better in real life (I may like them more than the ovals), and sounds pretty good too. Hope you still have them.

I do. Because I didn't live with the standard pipes for any time at all, I don't have a reference point for the sound really. I think it sounds reasonably deep and 'grunty' - not a patch on the Vanquish of course, but not bad.

Nice on a sunny day this car!
