Unleaded fuel ??????

Hi there,

I have bought an 84 silver spur, can this be run on unleaded fuel without any modifications ??

there are no locazl garages selling leaded fuel.

I have heard of additives to add, if this is the best route which additive is the best

Any post war model can run unleaded as far as valve seats are concerned.

You might want to check with a dealer or specialist about the ignition side of things though, although unleaded now is high octane, when it 1st came out years ago for some dumb reason it was only two star so adjustment was required.
