Le mans Report
Discussion
Left 2 pm Tuesday, broke down on the M11 due to a oil leak that dropped oil all over the exhaust, lifted bonnet to be engulfed by tropical rain storm. Could not find were the oil had came from and it never did it again.
Lost the transponder for the immobiliser off the key ring in France and found it in a 4 acre field (lucky or what...)
Car got much respect from the French Police with them shouting `viva la Rolls Royce` at every opportunity and being waved through every were we went. Car didn't look out of place at the British welcome and besides the first oil leak the car behaved faultlessly over 2000 miles cruising at around 85mph. Fuel consumption was 15.9 mpg including 5 days driving around Le Mans with 5 people on board and air con on full. It also used around 1/4 of a pint off oil.
