Well, I have to admit that I did a bit of a double take......but no it wasnt a VW Beetle Convertible...............it was indeed the Conti GTC.

Trundled into a certain well known farm shop in Gloucestershire in my DB9 Volante. Only in the cotswolds would a farm shop have a car park with the following in: Bentley Continental GT Convertible ( presumed it must be a factory chap as they are not meant to be out until end of the year ) 575 Superamerica , 430 Spyder, Lambo Muira SV all parked up.

I have to say that the GTC looked like a useful tool but IMHO, one that has been beaten with the ugly stick! Give me a Corniche, any day......

But a new Corniche is £250K??!! You could have another DB9 Volante for that money.

I was being rude in that although the old corniche was not the prettiest car in the world, I would sooner have one than the GTC. As far as open bentleys go, I shall stick with my 3 liter
