7 weeks of blood sweat and tears...

and a rather large cheque book!
7 weeks of blood sweat and tears has gone to make one of the nicest creations we have done in recent times.
Although the audiophiles amongst us may scoff at the system, it fulfils the brief absolutely. An audio system which looks like Bentley themselves have installed it, with a killer bass line, and a top section that will cut ya clean!
The system absolutely slams - 140db+ all day long, and massive dynamic ability.
One very happy customer and one very tired workforce!
A massive thanks to Andy, Nige and Bob who all joined me in adding a little bit of their soul to this car.

If Bentley had fitted it would be hidden from view and not take up half the boot space! Have a look at Bentley's Mulliner creations. Why put a tele in the boot? 140dBa, so you need ear plugs to listen to the thing, or is it a mobile disco! maybe rent it out for weddings etc.
I'm sure you've put alot of work into it, but I don't see the point.

Ha ha! Although I am sure if I owned a Conti GT I wouldn't go quite as crazy, the customer was very happy so who am I to question!
I am sure Mulliner do some lovely stuff, but I am also sure they wouldn't be able to satisfy this customers exacting needs!
Was good fun anyway - roll on the Phantom we have in next week!

I'm curious, given the vast expense this owner undertook to have a custom install . How come you opted for the pod mount thing and not a cutting edge double din /auto pc/can link unit hook up in the center stack ,seems a bit "add on" when you went to such a lot of trouble making everything else.

The infotainment system controls everything in the car from climate control, to tyre pressure indication and ride hight etc, and the car simply will not work without it!
I am sure given enough time and money, this could all be controlled via a PC, but as it all runs on a MOST bus system it would be horribly complicated. Also, the system have fitted can be removed without leaving any trace behind which was one of the design briefs.
