We passed this beauty today in Naples, Florida, it’s no longer registered in the UK. Really stands out over here.

What a lovely old car. Sometimes I prefer the Silver cloud I&II with the tall grille and single headlights and other times I prefer the III with the sleek lower grille and quad lights - but I love all three. Is there any way to tell from the outside whether it is a I or II?

Think it is an earlier one, with single head lamps. My father had a Bentley S3 (same shape) which had twin head lamps.

Sorry I’m not really an RR enthusiast but I love all sorts of beautiful vehicles and this was definitely one. I was driving so Mrs BC took the photos, wonderful motor car.

Yes the I and II both have single headlamps, the Series I with a six cylinder engine and the Series II with a V8. I just wondered if there was a way to tell the single headlight versions apart visually - other than the sound of the engine of course!
