What can possibly be the catch?

When browsing Autotrader, I came across 24 Rolls-Royce Spectres for sale.
Many show mileages of only 100 miles, but some were first registered as far back as September 2023.
Probably had a first service by now and it will be MoT time in 19 months.

Ultra-luxury car makers often claim they only build to customer orders, but that claim seems to be stretched sometimes and 'dealer stuffing' ensues.

The asking prices have regularly been reduced on most of these cars, but they still remain unsold.
If perhaps purchased by 'flippers', then it looks as though instead of a quick profit, they are now the owners of beautiful ornaments.

Apparently they are quite slow to shift. I was at my local dealer a few weeks back and he was telling me it took over 6 months to shift the 2 they had in stock. They went for 300k so 100k off. The guy said the main problem is the buyers uncertainty about the batteries. I’m quite happy sticking with my gas guzzling wraith.
