Rolls engine number ID SZ

I've got an old Rolls V8 engine & I thought it was from a Shadow, but bit of internet digging says the stamp of SZ on the engine is from a Silver Spirit, I'd like to know what year, anyone have an idea?

Yes, SZ denotes the Spirit model. My understanding is that the SZ number shown is sequential engine numbering and the other 15081 number would normally relate to the original 'body' number that the engine was allocated to, in this case approx 1986/87.

It would be a 6750cc engine, and probably one of the later carb engines, but that's a guess as I don't know the exact changeover point to Efi. as some markets had them before the UK and I can't recall if all '87 model-year cars had Efi.
