Thinking of going from 2014 Conti GT V8S to 2018 Conti W12

What to look out for?

Any known faults or "features" that I should check over?

What depth should the front and rear pads be from new, want to make sure I don't have to fork out for a new set in short order given how much they cost to replace!

You talking about a Gen 3 model?

If not and you have a reliable 2014, i would stick with what you have.

Edit: Think the pads are about 8mm thick from new.

Yep… too late, bit the bullet yesterday!

The cost to change is so tiny that it makes sense (for me) to move to the newer model

Congrats, same age as my Gen 3 W12, don't think you'll be disappointed, still love mine after 2 years and it's my daily.

Regarding brakes.... very expensive, just under £1200 for a set of front Pagid pads!

Is it a First Edition? Colour?
