Missing Service History Located

My elderly father sold his black 1990 2 owner Bentley Continental Convertible at Dukes auction, Dorset 07/03/2019 Lot 64 but he had unfortunately misplaced all the service history so it was never provided and the car was sold without any history.

Amazingly after over 3 years it has now been located so it would obviously be nice to reunite it with the cars current owner. I've recently contacted the auction house directly and informed them but I strangely never heard anything back. I also note that the car must have been re-registered so no longer has the same registration number.

Vehicle details: -
1990 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL CONVERTIBLE
Chassis number - SCBZD00A1LCH30254
Engine number - 72001L4101/NEL
Registration number - H179 DUF

If this is your vehicle please get it touch as the history file I have for the vehicle is quite comprehensive.

That's a very nice story. I hope you find who has it.

If it helps you the vehicle is now registered under GSD746.
Good luck with finding the owner.

Is it worth contacting the RREC or Bentley Drivers Club?

Thanks for the info! Yes that's a great idea and I'll certainly get in contact with the owners club as well.

That is a truly glorious looking car, it actually suits better as a Bentley over the Rolls

Beautiful car! Really do not like those wheels though.
Be nice to see if you find the new owner. I would persevere with the auction house cheeky buggers!
Quick enough to take the commission!

I finally managed to track down the current owner and reunite the service history back with the car! The wonderful owner was really appreciative and immediately collected the history folder as he didn't live too far away!
