Bentley GT - Front end rattling over bumps & Idling Seems R
Discussion
Hi all,
This is really bugging me now after having lots of work done under an insurance claim. I was told by the garage I brought the car from that I had damaged the underside of my car, namely the subframe and swingarms. One swingarm was making contact with the subframe and causing a knock when I went over bumps. In short, my insurance paid for a new subframe and swingarms, along with some other related suspension parts. When I received the car back, the knocking had gone but I can still hear rattling - like the front is all loose. It really sounds like the callipers and shoes are loose.
I have the ceramic break option so not sure it that is of any relevance or anybody has had a similar experience?
Also - there is a ticking noise that can be heard from the cabin when the car is idling. The revs also bounce up and down like it struggles / about to stall but then it pics up.
Its a 2008 GT Speed.
Any help at all would be gratefully received.
Cheers...

If it was accident damage paid for by your insurance company, there should be some responsibility placed on the repairing garage.
Sounds like they have "missed" some worn or damaged parts but that doesn't mean you should be paying for it. Unless, of course if the worn parts are nothing to do with the accident damage.
That's what insurance cover is for, surely?
