Hello,

Im not good with the mechanixs but tocarry out a coolant flush on the CGT MY 2p04

Do you take off the undertray, disconnect the rubber pipe feeding from radiator, release the existing coolant, flush using g hosepipe and then fill with g12+ pink coolant.

Anything I need to be aware of or something I have missed?

Thanks

The Crewe 6-3/4 also has a couple of plugs in the block you can remove to drain the coolant from the block. Not sure if the W12 has those or not....

It's also a good idea to turn the heater on full hot so that the coolant will drain out of the heater matrix.

I haven't a clue what antifreeze that car uses.

Thank you,

It uses g12 or (g12+) pink in colour and I have purchased 20 litres as it takes 19 litres, the mix is 50/50.

I think once the cover is off will be able to see and yes will def put blower on full blast.

You will need to vacuum down the system using one of these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/393441867937?

The coolant circuit is so complex that trying to pour fresh coolant in from the reservoir will result in airlocks, no matter what the HVAC is doing.

The W12 does not have a drain on the block, and even if it did, with the engine in the car you would never be able to reach to access it.
Thank you,

Nothing is straight forward.

OK am looking for a good mechanic and see if he has one if these.
