Hi all. My 2004 just failed it’s MOT on one item.....

Headlamp aim projected beam image is obviously incorrect Offside Front.

Annoying that they couldn’t just overlook this as all lights work fine.

They suspect the bulb or holder hasn’t been seated correctly or the black paint on the end of the bulb has turned grey and not projecting the image correctly. Has anyone had any experience of this and has anyone successfully got their hand in without taking the bumper off?

Thanks

Found the adjusting screws. Not easy to get to but can be turned in situ. However they didn’t seem to do much adjustment.

Get the car facing a wall or garage door when it's dark.
Turn on the lights and see how far out of alignment the faulty lamp is now that you have found the adjusters.
Just a suggestion.
