Hi all,

I've had Carbon brakes across Porsche and Lamborghini and found them to be phenomenal, My question is I'm looking at 2010/11 GT Supersports which are now 9-10 years old, how long do Bentley ceramics last and do the pads outlast a normal pad?

Cheers Greg

I've got a 2008 GT Speed. 44,000 miles. still on original discs and pads. They take some getting used to but as you've had them before you'll already know that. When cold or not been used for a while e.g. on a motorway they are very grabby indeed, when cold you also sometimes get the "wet china plate" noise. They've saved me from a nasty prang at least once - incredible stopping power and no brake dust to mess up your alloys or rusty looking rotors. I've been told (heresay) that for normal road use they should last well over 100,000 miles but I'll wait for others to opine.

My car is a 2012 super sport with 88k mileage, used as a daily, last service discs were 98%, so just 2% wear in 88k miles which is amazing. I have had one set of pads in 70k miles also.
