Bentley GT V8S servicing

Hi,

Im sure this has been asked a thousand times but would really appreciate some help asap before booking my car in. Ive been quoted £1300 for a interim 5 year service by HR Owen, can anyone tell me if this sounds about right?

....My bosses Bentley GT was done by HR Owen Cheltenham. Price was much less than £1300 as well.

Bentayga 3 year service £1650 at Bristol. Dread to think what a major service would be. Bentley have comedy servicing costs considering it is VW group and mass produced tech underneath. Porsche nowhere near that level. Ferrari have 7 year service plan in purchase price.

No wonder they never get serviced properly when they get to a certain age.

That’s pretty much what a 3yr cost on our V8S. Nobody expects these to be cheap to run, but I was surprised when a 3 year on a V12 Aston comes in at half the price. Can’t help but feel somewhat bent over as a result.

Bentley charge about that on their service. It's worth taking it to a specialist who would charge half that. There's not a lot to the service. Remember it's a VW/Audi derived powerplant and not exotic as folks think.

Just paid £1400 for a W12 small service.

3rd year Is a major on bentayga including spark plugs. I don’t think that engine is used in anything else apart from new gt either so mass produced tech is a little unfair.
